I have been a keen needlewoman all my life and pieced my first patchwork whilst still at school. I found I was devoting more and more time to patchwork and quilting, rather than the many other needle arts I enjoy, and it eventually became evident that I enjoy quilting - particularly machine quilting - far more than piecing. In fact, piecing became a means to an end - quilts were merely pieced in order to provide a medium on which to quilt!

Having established a reputation locally for quality machine quilting, I began professional machine quilting to plug an apparent hole in the British quilting world.

I use an APQS Millennium, one of the world's more technically advanced quilting machines, which boasts regulated stitching.

I like to take particular care to ensure that the quilting design enhances my customer's piecing and/or appliqué and is a reflection of my customer's preferences.
